How Does SkinTyte™ Work?
Your SkinTyte™ treatment does not require any numbing. Most people describe the sensation as warmth or mild heat. Treating smaller areas like the face usually takes about 30 minutes, while larger areas take more time. Am I a Candidate for SkinTyte™?
Almost anyone can safely have SkinTyte™ treatments. It is safe for all skin types and tones, even sensitive skin. Good candidates have reasonable expectations and want to tighten mild to moderate skin laxity. People with significant loose skin are typically better candidates for a surgical procedure. SkinTyte™ works almost anywhere on the face or body where you can develop skin laxity.
You should not have SkinTyte™ if you have recently taken Accutane. You may not be a good candidate if your job or other activities require you to spend a lot of time in the sun. People with certain skin conditions that make them sensitive to light treatments should not have SkinTyte™. You should wait to have treatment if you have a skin injury or infection in the area.
Is There Any Downtime After SkinTyte™?
Non-invasive SkinTyte™ does not cause any injury to the skin. As a result, there is no downtime, and you can return to your usual activities immediately. Redness usually fades within an hour. Avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen after treatment. Your skin will be very sun-sensitive for several days after SkinTyte™.
How Long Does it Take to See SkinTyte™ Results?
Most people need at least three SkinTyte™ treatments to see their desired results. Results may appear after several weeks. Full skin tightening will take about four months to achieve. You can maintain your desired results with a yearly treatment session once you have reached your goals. Results can last up to two years with good skincare and sun protection.
