How Much is a Facelift?
The average cost for a facelift in the United States is $12,400. This cost may vary depending on your surgeon’s experience, practice location, and any additional procedures you may add to your facelift. Our average facelift ranges widely from $23,000 up to $40,000 depending on the procedures needed to rejuvenate your face. During your consultation with Dr. Rankin at our Walnut Creek or Greenbrae office, he will discuss all associated costs and help you determine your treatment’s final price.
How Long is Recovery from a Facelift?
Initial recovery from a facelift is two weeks. While you may experience discomfort, Dr. Rankin uses a long-acting local anesthetic to improve your overall recovery and reduce reliance on pain medications.
For your comfort, you may choose between an inpatient or outpatient recovery period. Whether you spend a night in our facility or return home immediately after, Dr. Rankin sends you home with minimal facial dressings to promote healing.
Nearly all bruising and swelling subsides after 2 weeks, but we do not recommend scheduling a significant event within twelve weeks of your facelift. Dr. Rankin will schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your recovery and results.
